Ian then spent several years with Aon Corporation and Johnson & Higgins as CEO of their respective European insurance management operations. During this time, he provided intermediary support and direct risk financing, insurance consultancy and business advice to international organizations based in the UK and across Europe.

Ian founded and is CEO of Assured Warranty Services, a European extended warranty service provider. He led a team that won several major consumer electronics, home appliance and commercial product warranty programs for major European traditional retailers, online and mail order organizations. He was also responsible for structuring insurance needs of the business and placing these with International insurers and captive reinsurer producer structures.

Ian founded is CEO and President of CGI Group in 2000. CGI comprises a suite of businesses that provide a range of warranty, underwriting, intermediary and allied professional services to a diverse mix of international organizations.

From 1992 to date, Ian has been underwriting director of several warranty and service contract insurance and reinsurance companies. During this period, he has developed several bespoke underwriting solutions, rating methodologies, policy wordings, reinsurance structures and ART solutions that have resulted in profitable and effective solutions to his clients.

Ian is CEO of Risk Assure Group and resides in Houston with his family.
